Analysis of energy saving measures using the materials «Lic Ceramic» on the example of the heating system and domestic hot water.
At 80 °C heat and hot water heat flux emanating from the surface of uninsulated pipe is 2686 W/m2 heat flux emanating from the surface of the "classical insulation" is 1168 W/m2 heat flux emanating from the surface "Lic Ceramic" equal to 833 W/m2 (this was used measuring the heat flux density and PPI-2 probe for measuring heat flux with a maximum measurement indicator 9999 W/m2)
In the calculation of the cost of the thermal energy is taken into account 1 Giga-calorie expended energy. To date (March 2012) 1 Gcal = 272.71 UAH.
Conversion of units:
1.16 MW = 1 Gcal/h, we obtain:
losses from uninsulated pipe up 0.0023 Gcal m2/hour*(A), the surface covered with "traditional heaters" - 0.001 Gcal m2/hour*(B) and covered «Lic Ceramic» - 0,0007*Gcal m2/hour(B), respectively.
By simple calculations, we obtain:
A.) 0.0023 * 272.71 = 0.63 USD * chas/m2
B.) 0.001 * 272.71 = 0.27 USD * chas/m2
B.) 0.0007 * 272.71 = 0.19 USD * chas/m2
As can be seen, the loss from the surface of the coated insulation «Lic Ceramic» relative to bare - below 3.3 times! And compared with the surface of the isolated "conventional materials" such as loss of less than 70%!
So, what we have:
Heating season, an average of 180 days/year (or 4320 hours/year), so having the original data can say with confidence that the economic effect of isolating a single (!) Per square meter of piping hot water supply and heating materials «Lic Ceramic» will be:
- Compared to the bare surface:
4320 * 0.63 - 4320 * 0.19 = 1900.80 UAH. * Chas/m2
- Compared to the "traditional materials":
4320 * 0.27 - 4320 * 0.19 = 345.60 UAH. * Chas/m2
Conclusion:
Against the general energy-saving effect (low density of heat flow from the surface of the pipe) on the application of liquid ceramic coatings «Lic Ceramic», we have a visible economic effect, which in terms of actual use of the heating system and hot water - provides tremendous cost savings.
